Zigzag Lighting was formed in London in 1984 as a joint venture by Kevin Ludlam and Neil Hunt, who had been working in the Entertainment Industry for several years. After the first successful year, the company was big enough for Neil to start up Zigzag Lighting North in Leeds while Kevin remained in London.

The two companies have since traded separately, although we still collaborate on some larger projects.

Our first venture was a tour of Germany, although most of our early shows were in small venues around London. Gradually we began to attract regular clients, such as Then Jerico, Immaculate Fools, and King Kurt. This lead to more touring work, and a consequent expansion  of the business.

We have now lit events or toured with shows in many European Countries and members of our crew have a working knowledge of several European languages.
